Register in Advance

The League of Women Voters Education Fund has partnered with numerous nonpartisan organizations through Register in Advance to register voters across the country.

In 2006, partner organizations include: National Urban League, League of United Latin American Citizens, Coalition for the People's Agenda, National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials Education Fund, Southwest Voter Registration Education Project, Operation Hope and Advance America. As in 2004, we encourage Leagues to partner with their local Advance America stores to host voter registration drives. Interested Leagues should contact Dawn Morrow at dmorrow@advanceamerica.net or 864-342-5691 for details. Advance America is once again making red, white and blue lapel pins available to Leagues. Each pin comes with a card explaining its significance and the importance of voter participation. These are great give-aways for your voter registration events. Lapel pins can be ordered using the request form below.

Project History
In 2004, partner organizations included: National Urban League, National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials Education Fund, People for the American Way Foundation, League of United Latin American Citizens, Southwest Voter Registration Education Project, Georgia Coalition for the People's Agenda and Advance America. Register in Advance partners registered over 110,000 voters in 2004 and approximately 50 Leagues participated in the project.
