The League of Women Voters of Wisconsin Setting the Basis for Reform on Recusal

The League of Women Voters of Wisconsin are at the forefront of recusal reform for judges.  Since the Caperton vs. Massey decision was handed down by the United States Supreme Court on June 8th, courts in several states have been trying to figure out how to apply the deicsion in their state.  The League of Women Voters of Wisconsin has been one of the most active groups on this issue -- including by petitioning the Wisconsin Supreme Court to institute new rules that prohibit judges from rulling on cases involving major campaign contributors.  Wisconsin online news articles including the following by the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel and the Cap Times have the League constantly in the headlines.  You can see here, http://www.jsonline.com/news/opinion/64827087.html and here, http://host.madison.com/ct/news/opinion/editorial/article_3db3b86e-447e-5b5f-b476-da98a8a2814f.html
