The LWVUS Health Care Education Task Force (HCET) will be established to design a program for educating our members about health care.  The term of the Task Force shall be determined by the Board, with an initial period of not less than three months for purposes of recommending the scope of the education project and thereafter, at the discretion of the Board, but not to exceed two years.

The HCET will be expected to perform the following tasks:

  1. Make recommendations to the Board as to the scope and design of a program to educate members on the LWVUS health care position;
  2. Perform such other tasks, as requested by the Board, based on that scope and design.

The HCET shall report to the LWVUS Board and all materials prepared by the taskforce shall be submitted to the Board and shall be used at the Board’s discretion.  Any presentation of materials or findings produced by HCET may only be presented by the LWVUS President or her designee.

  1. Members of the HCET shall be appointed by the LWVUS President and represent the diversity of the League, as much as possible.
