Congratulations to the League of Voters of
Indiana!
The Indiana Court of Appeals voted unanimously this week to overturn
a state law requiring voters to show government-issued photo
identification, citing violation of the state Constitution, and agreeing
with the League of Women Voters, plaintiffs in the case. "[We]
conclude that the Voter I.D. law violates Indiana Constitution Article
1, Section 23, and must be declaired void because it regulates voters in
a manner that is not uniform and impartial."
