Local Leagues across the country have responded to recent attempts in Congress to allow employers and health plans to block contraceptive services and discriminate against women.

Many Leagues have alerted their communities to this threat by sending letters to their local paper. These letters to the editor raise concerns about legislation limiting access to contraceptive services based on “religious or moral objections” by employers or insurance companies.
