 Dear Editor,

Make Sure You Cast a Ballot!

The League of Women Voters of [YOUR COMMUNITY] encourages everyone to be a part of this important election.  The outcome of Election 2012 will affect everyone’s job, health care, energy costs and security.  This election will help decide what kind of country we and our children will live in. It will also impact our community for years to come.

The League wants all citizens to vote.   Whether you vote by absentee ballot or vote in person, be sure to make your voice heard in this election!   If you can take advantage of early or absentee voting, you should.  If you go to vote on November 6th, as long as you are in line before the poll closes, you are entitled to cast a ballot.  The future of our great democracy rests in your hands: Stay and cast your vote.

Voters that have questions about their polling place, how to request an absentee ballot, or any other election related questions, should visit VOTE411.org for all they need this election year.  The League of Women Voters invites you to join us in making our communities fair, safe and strong by voting this year. It is the most important thing you can do to shape the future of your democracy.

 Sincerely,
