Atlanta League registers dozens to vote at wrestling event

The League of Women Voters of Atlanta, GA recently teamed up with longtime LWVEF partner, Smackdown Your Vote!
,to conduct registration at a local World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) event. The League distributed nonpartisan election materials and helped dozens of event attendees, many of them young and first-time voters, successfully fill out registration applications.
Leagues are gearing up nationwide to carry out similar activities at wrestling events this summer and fall. Want to get involved in this great visibility and voters' service opportunity? Check this list to see when WWE might be headed to your area, or order copies of the hot-off-the-presses "18-30 Voter Issues Paper", a must-have resource for Leagues conducting youth-related activities.
In the photos below, Atlanta League members Allen Bearden, Rita Robinzine, A. Ibn Nuriddin, Vernetta Keith Nuriddin, Rachel Lesperance, Charis Johnson, and Rita Robinzine, and WWE Vice President Gary Davis, gather and help individuals register to vote.
