League President Mary G. Wilson sent a letter to the House urging them to update campaign finance laws, with particular attention to disclosure requirements governing corporate and union spending.

The League and coalition partners sent a letter to both the House of Representatives and the Senate urging Congress to provide at least the amount proposed by the administration for international programs in 2011.  The League is particularly concerned about funding for international adaptation to deal with global climate change.
