On the Road: Colorado
| Elisabeth MacNamaraAt the end of last week, refreshed from a few short days at home in Georgia, I hit the road again this time on a two state swing starting in Colorado and wrapping up in Missouri. In Colorado, I continued to meet with our partner organizations, meet our on-the-ground members and volunteers doing everything they can to get their communities ready for the November elections, and had the opportunity to meet with the Colorado Secretary of State.

After getting to Columbus late Wednesday night, my first full day in Ohio got off to a great start with a radio interview on Ohio public radio on the challenges voters will face during this election because of all the attempts by Ohio politicians to manipulate election laws for their own gain.

| Elisabeth MacNamaraIt’s a fact – we are truly in the breakneck pace of the election cycle. Governor Mitt Romney has selected his running mate; President Obama and Governor Romney have accepted their party’s nomination at the national conventions; and the first debate is less than a month away. In a time when politicians always seem to be campaigning, the light at the end of the tunnel is beginning to burn a little brighter.
