The League joined over 100 organizations in sending a letter to the U.S. Senate urging ratification of the convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW).
The Conference will gather leading women leaders from Serbia, the United States and South East Europe from academia, politics, business, science, and civil society. The goal of the conference is to create an effective network of women leaders. The Conference is being organized by the Serbian-American Women's Leadership Network with the support of the President of the National Parliament of Serbia, Ms. Slavica Djukic Dejanovic.

The League and its coalition partners submitted joint testimony to members of the Subcommittee on Human Rights and the Law in support of the Convention for the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) Treaty.
League President Elisabeth MacNamara sent a letter to the Senate urging them to ratify the START Treaty which was signed by President Obama and President Medeyev in April 2010. Lobby Corps members are visiting key Senate offices this month in support of ratification of the START Treaty.
