Annual Report of the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General on Violence Against Children
Ms. Marta Santos Pais, Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General on Violence Against Children, has just released the 2012 Annual Report on the state of the world's efforts to eradicate violence against children. Ms. Santos Pais and her staff are working with the League's UN Observers in a project to bring awareness of trafficking of minors during major sporting events.

Thank you, Melanne for that very kind introduction, and for your extraordinary leadership, in a rather short tenure, you have already improved the lives of women not just in the United States, but of course, around the world. So thank you— for everything that you do each and every day.
