In addition to debates and forums, another important service provided by state and local Leagues is candidate/issue information in the form of voters’ guides or surveys covering all types of elections.

Case in point: The Alabama League conducts surveys of state judicial candidates and posts responses on its website to remedy an information gap that leave “Alabama voters often in the dark on judicial races.” Kathryn Byrd, Alabama League president, said that the state League is limited by its inability to print and distribute voters’ guides, noting "Some of the people who need this information the most don't have access to the Internet." "I wish we had the funding to publish it. That is one of our great frustrations." Byrd also noted that the state League links its voter education information to the national website, VOTE411, run by the League of Women Voters Education Fund, to extend its outreach.
