Kansas Supreme Court Justice Carol A. Beier, Kansas Court of Appeals Judge Henry Green, Magistrate Judge in Riley County District Court Sheila Hochhauser spoke about judicial demographics in Kansas, implicit bias, and the importance of a varied bench at the "What Does a Judge Look Like?" forum organized by the League of Women Voters of Salina and Kansas Wesleyan University. The judges also discussed their own paths to their current positions, how their diversity affects their work as judges, and their views of judicial diversity in general.
