Convention 2014 in Dallas TX

Nominations for National Board - Deadline September 30!
The Nominating Committee does not actually nominate people. You, the members, do that! And we are actively seeking recommendations now for LWVUS National Board for 2014-2016. So if you know someone you think would be a good national leader, please nominate them and help us build another great LWVUS Board!

  • State and Local League Request Form for Federal Issues

State and local Leagues wishing to work on a federal issue or at the national level on an issue that has not been the subject of an LWVUS Action Alert can use this form to contact the national office to consult on the intended action. Once the form has been filled out, national League staff will receive a copy via email as will the person making the submission.
  • Starting a League in Your Community: Form and Checklist

If you are interested in forming a League in your community, you should contact your state League for more information. To start a League you must first be a member of the state League and operate a Unit in your area for a viable amount of time. Furthermore, there is a checklist here that lets you know what materials are needed to become a League.
  • League ID Numbers

LWVUS uses a unique League ID number to internally track projects that specific Leagues are working on. Should you need to find your League ID number, you can find it here.
  • LWVUS Campaign Finance Taskforce Application

A Campaign Finance Reform Task Force of members with experience and expertise in campaign finance and constitutional law will prove invaluable as the League tackles long term reform. Members, with an interest in this issue as well as expertise and background in campaign finance and constitutional law, who would like to apply to serve on this task force may do so using this application. Applications are due by March 1, 2012.
