Defenders and red herrings
Every time I see a letter that points out the sins of President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney, I see a red herring aimed at directing the audience’s attention away from the main issues, moving the focus of the “low information voters” to something they might understand.
I guess the fact that the current administration has been in office for five years and owns today’s problems and scandals does not resonate with these people.
