League of Women Voters Celebrates 91st Birthday
League president urges public involvement

[YOUR TOWN]– The League of Women Voters will celebrate its 91st birthday on February 14.  Founded in 1920 by leaders in the women’s suffrage movement, the organization has become synonymous with elections and voting, citizen engagement and civility.  According to League leaders in [YOUR TOWN], their members are busy all year, and opportunities for civic engagement abound.
