The League asked Senators to oppose an amendment to an upcoming Transportation bill that that would limit access to contraceptive services for women if any employer or insurance plan has a “religious or moral objection.”

League President Elisabeth MacNamara sent a letter to Senators urging them to oppose repeal of the Affordable Care Act passed in 2010.

The League joined over 200 other national organizations representing consumers, medical groups, businesses and labor organizations urging Congress to pass health reform.
