Take Action: Immigration Debate Heads to the U.S. House

The debate over comprehensive immigration reform moves now to the U.S. House of Representatives. After vigorous argument from both sides of the aisle on a path to citizenship for current immigrants, border security and other contentious issues, the Senate passed S. 744, the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act on a strong bipartisan vote.
