On Monday, the League was proud to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) by visiting the U.S. Capitol to attend briefings and a celebratory reception on the monumental voting rights law.
The League once again calls on the President and the nation's new elections commission to make bold changes to make elections free, fair and accessible.

Monday, May 20, marks the 20th anniversary of the signing of the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA), legislation that streamlined the voter registration process for federal elections.
