The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, has fought for nearly 100 years to improve American systems of government and impact public policies through citizen education, advocacy, and litigation. The enduring vitality and resonance of the League as a trusted force for change and good government comes from its unique decentralized structure: a national organization with strong partnerships at the grassroots level with more than 750 state and local Leagues across the country including the District of Columbia.

At the national level, League activities are coordinated and staffed by two distinct but complementary organizations: The League of Women Voters of the United States (LWVUS) and the League of Women Voters Education Fund (LWVEF).


The digital workplace manager is responsible for the successful adoption of digital productivity tools within LWV, providing guidance, training, and leadership. The incumbent will help staff learn how to effectively use cloud-based productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Zoom, etc.) to work more efficiently from anywhere.

The manager will develop a deep understanding of LWV’s staff needs and connect those requirements to available productivity tools and training. In addition, the manager will help coordinate service support to staff when they encounter problems or need additional training. 


  • Acts as the lead product manager for productivity tools (e.g., Office 365, Zoom, etc.) at LWV.  
  • Manages managed services provider (MSP) partner to ensure reliable and secure technology infrastructure and responsive service to staff. 
  • Augments MSP by providing direct technical support to staff as needed.  
  • Helps to develop and maintain governance and standards for how to use productivity tools at LWV. 
  • Delivers brief in-person and remote trainings to staff on how to leverage cloud-based productivity tools in the course of their work. 
  • Develops basic training materials (tip sheets, quick screen recordings, etc.) to help staff learn new features. 
  • Encourages widespread adoption of approved collaboration tools. 
  • Supports remote access to all LWV productivity tools. 
  • Assists with onboarding new staff so they can quickly understand how to work productively at LWV. 
  • Keeps abreast of new features from cloud-based productivity technology providers and translates how those updates will impact LWV. 
  • Develops, provides, or coordinates system training, educational tools, and materials. 
  • Provides project management as needed to digital workplace projects. 
  • Participates in industry and other professional networks to ensure awareness of industry standards, trends, and best practices to strengthen organizational and technical knowledge. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems Management with two (2) to three (3) years of managing digital workplace tools in a business environment 


  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience managing digital workplace tools in a business environment 



  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, their use and administration 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects 
  • Ability to perform troubleshooting for end-user hardware and software.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $80,000.  We have a generous benefits package that includes 95 percent employer-sponsored health insurance, dental and vision insurance, paid holidays, vacation days, sick days, pre-tax transit benefits, and the opportunity to contribute to a 401(K) plan.

This job is fully remote and will require periodic travel to Washington DC.
