Elections Tools

We are all equal at the ballot box, but only if we vote. These tools support our work to engage voters and ensure Americans have the information they need to participate in elections.

Elections Tools In Depth

Use this new planning guide to raise funds to support your League's important election-year work. From an itemized list of election-year needs, to specific suggestions about garnering support in your community, this resource can help Leagues of all sizes prepare to be active, visible and effective during election time.

We encourage all Leagues to check their state’s information and provide LWVEF with any input that could help us improve the information provided. We also encourage you to send us information about your upcoming debates and other election events so they can be promoted through VOTE411.

The League of Women Voters Education Fund is initiating efforts to help Leagues become more active in promoting voter registration among new U.S. citizens, especially at naturalization ceremonies. We have created this toolkit to provide relevant information and suggestions to assist those Leagues interested in conducting effective and efficient voter registration at naturalization ceremonies. Thanks to the many League leaders who shared knowledge, resources and materials for the creation of this toolkit.

In the PDF document below, you will find:
