In honor of our 96th anniversary as well as Presidents’ Day, we are calling upon our supporters to help us in Making Democracy Work and bringing new voters into our electoral process this year.

With the election cycle now in full swing, we’re pleased to share the League of Women Voters' presidential voters’ guide to help voters learn about the candidates and their visions for America’s future.

Millions of voters will vote in the presidential primaries. The rules about the primaries, including when they are held and who can participate, vary widely by state. Here’s a quick look to help answer your questions about this pivotal part of our voting system.

#GivingTuesday is a day to support the organizations that mean the most to us, and that is why I will be supporting the League of Women Voters. I hope you will, too!

From the tip of Maine to the coast of California, Leagues have been working to register voters and ensure our elections are free, fair and accessible to all voters. We have put together a brief slide show to highlight some of the most exciting victories you helped make possible.

The 2016 primaries are not the only important elections coming up. On Tuesday, November 3,  thousands of important state and local elections will happen across the country.

"League teams are finding new voters at bike races, gyms and new citizen ceremonies on this National Voter Registration Day,” said President MacNamara.
