March 26 is the one-year anniversary of the arguments of the League’s consolidated redistricting cases Rucho v. League of Women Voters. Here's what has happened since.

Throughout 2019 the League defended democracy in the courts on issues relating to voting rights, redistricting, money in politics, and improving elections.

Our state leaders met last week in Dulles, VA, to learn and strategize on how they could organize, empower, and mobilize their state leagues to accomplish our goal to end partisan gerrymandering.

The League of Women Voters of Oklahoma, as part of the People Not Politicians coalition, filed an initiative petition to end gerrymandering in Oklahoma.

After the Supreme Court's decision in the Rucho case this past June, "failing to take a stand for voters and...limit...partisan gerrymandering," we promised to  fight harder than ever.

LWV Texas and other partners joined North Carolina redistricting case Common Cause v. Lewis as amici curiae.
