The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, has fought for nearly 100 years to improve American systems of government and impact public policies through citizen education, advocacy, and litigation. The enduring vitality and resonance of the League as a trusted force for change and good government comes from its unique decentralized structure: a national organization with strong partnerships at the grassroots level with more than 750 state and local Leagues across the country including the District of Columbia.

At the national level, League activities are coordinated and staffed by two distinct but complementary organizations: The League of Women Voters of the United States (LWVUS) and the League of Women Voters Education Fund (LWVEF).


To serve as a VOTE411 Coordinator in the Mission Impact Department, to support the League of Women Voters’ online voter education strategy, with an emphasis on providing key constituencies, such as young people, communities of color, and women, with the information and tools they need to successfully navigate the US electoral process and reduce the representational bias that currently exists in the system.

This position specifically focuses on supporting the website and reports to the VOTE411 Manager. 


  • Maintain the state voting law information on VOTE411. 
  • Continually research and update upcoming state election dates, candidate forums, and other voter engagement events on VOTE411. 
  • Support state and local League VOTE411 cost-share sign-up requests and the invoicing process through the Salesforce system. 
  • Support Spanish translations as needed for the VOTE411 website and VOTE411 promotional materials. 
  • Provide Google Analytic reports for Leagues participating in the cost-share as needed. 
  • Provide direct technical support to state and local Leagues and candidates regarding VOTE411 participation. 
  • Build strong, trusted, and authentic relationships with League leaders and partner organizations.  
  • Work with League affiliates to build out education programs and maintain regular communications with Leagues on progress-to-goals and ensure there is a state to national feedback loop of timely information. 
  • Provide direct end-user support to users.  
  • Support a GIS dataset that is foundational to effectively delivering the VOTE411 services including identifying GIS resources posted by state and local governments, manipulating GIS files to correct errors or ensure proper loading into VOTE411, loading GIS files to VOTE411, and testing the results of the file load.  
  • Assist with candidate outreach. 
  • Support identifying and prioritizing system updates across all system components. Maintain a product backlog for future enhancements. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 


Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 


  • Minimum of two years experience in project implementation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent people skills. 
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and train staff or volunteers.  
  • Customer service oriented and ability to work as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to engage diverse communities in an authentic way. 
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and Office 365 required. 
  • Experience with NGP VAN, Salesforce, Salsa-Engage, website back-end systems, Zoom, OutreachCircle, and social media a plus.  
  • Familiarity with voting rights, election reform, and voter engagement a plus.  


The salary range for this position is $55,000.  We have a generous benefits package that includes 95 percent employer –sponsored health insurance, dental and vision insurance, paid holidays, vacation days, sick days, pre-tax transit benefits, and the opportunity to contribute to a 401(K) plan.
