June is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender/Transexual, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual/Allies+ (LGBTQIA+) Pride Month! To celebrate and stand in solidarity, many organizations change their social media avatars (profile pictures) to a version of their logo that incorporates a rainbow. The rainbow is used a symbol of LGBTQIA+ pride and LGBTQIA+ social movements, as its many colors reflect the beautiful diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community. The Progress Pride flag is another version that includes specific colors for Black, brown, and trans queer pride to bring those communities to the forefront.

Pride and Democracy
Just as we declare in our advocacy for reproductive justice that full rights to our bodies are a requirement of true democracy, we advocate for queer liberation by declaring that full rights to our identity are fundamental to real democracy. Queer Americans living their truth are an unimpeachable part of this country's promise to be by the people and for the people.
Democracy includes everyone, and that's exactly what Pride is all about.

This logo package includes .png and .jpeg versions of our LWV pride logo and LWV progress pride logo sized for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. You can use as many of these as you desire. We recommend adding your new logo on June 1 and replacing it with your previous avatar on July 1.
We will not provide pride logo versions using individual League logos. Find our other social media avatar logos here.
