How to Use This Template
This template is designed to help state and local Leagues speak out against the fast-tracking of additional funding for ICE and CBP through the reconciliation bill process.
You’ll find:
- A customizable letter
- Fill-in-the-blank fields for personalization
Instructions:
- Only state Leagues should fill out and send the Senate Letter
- Local Leagues should be listed on the House Letter along with state Leagues
- Copy the letter into your preferred format (email, printed letter, or online contact form)
- Choose and include the optional paragraph matching the legislator’s position
- Fill in bracketed fields with names, bill numbers, and state-specific details
- Send your letter
- Email a copy to [email protected] and cc [email protected] or [email protected] for tracking and coordination
