Ezra Rosenberg is a nationally recognized constitutional and voting rights attorney with significant experience litigating complex civil rights cases in federal and state courts, including drafting important amicus submissions to the US Supreme Court. He was one of the lead trial attorneys and lead coordinating attorney in the successful challenge to Texas's discriminatory voter ID law. He has devoted a substantial portion of his career to protecting voting rights, advancing equal access to democracy, and strengthening the legal foundations of civic participation. 

Ezra currently serves as director of Appellate Advocacy of the ACLU of New Jersey and previously co-directed the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law's Voting Rights Project, where he directed its litigation on some of the nation's most consequential voting rights and redistricting cases. In those roles, he has partnered with nonprofit organizations, academic institutions, and civic leaders to advance constitutional rights through litigation, public education, and strategic legal advocacy. 

Ezra brings to the League extensive expertise in constitutional law, election law, and nonprofit governance. A longtime trusted legal advisor to the League of Women Voters on voting rights and democracy issues, Ezra is committed to protecting the constitutional rights that underpin a healthy democracy. He brings deep legal expertise, garnered in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors, to help strengthen the League's work in defending voting rights, promoting equal access to the ballot, and advancing its mission of empowering voters and defending democracy.
