Jada Hunter is a JD Candidate at FSU College of Law in Tallahassee, Florida. Her involvement with the League began in her freshman year of Undergrad at Samford University when she founded the League of Women Voters affiliate. She fought to have it recognized as a permanent student organization and held many events for her student body related to their tagline of “how to vote, where to vote, and why we’re voting.” Some of her proudest moments included developing student leaders, hosting debates with members of her school's Republican and Democratic organizations, and registering students to vote every month on campus.
She also has worked with LWVUS on a pilot program to empower undergraduate students to start and maintain affiliate groups on their own campuses. She has personally worked with a few of those groups in Florida.
Jada is from Orlando and is the second oldest of six children. She is passionate about child advocacy and hopes to work to protect children through criminal law after she graduates.
