James brings over a decade of experience in strategic philanthropy, specializing in major, planned, and transformational gifts. As a member of the Communications and Advancement team, James is focused on building and nurturing relationships with our League supporters, providing guidance on maximizing their investment in our mission, and providing opportunities to deepen their engagement with and understanding of our work.

Before being at the League, James secured funding for organizations in the Metro Atlanta Area focused on the Arts, Higher Education, as well as Animal and Human Welfare. He has served on the Board of the Greater Atlanta chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), as well as the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Atlanta (YNPN). He has received fundraising and organizational leadership certifications from Illinois University’s Lily School of Philanthropy, the Dale Carnegie Institute, and Georgia Center for Nonprofits.
