Leotis Sanders is the senior director of Human Resources, Inclusion and Belonging at the League of Women Voters of the United States (LWVUS). In this capacity, Leotis is accountable for managing all aspects of Human Resource Management at the League and supporting all aspects of LWVUS’ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Racial Equity (RE), and Belonging-related projects, programs, and initiatives. Leotis joined LWVUS in November 2024 — the day before the 2024 presidential election — after an 18-month-long sabbatical to create the next phase of his life, centering mission-driven work aligned with his personal and professional commitments. He is grateful to have found the League as an outcome of that momentous journey, at a critical moment for voters and democracy
