The League joined coalition partners in sending a letter to EPA Administrator Pruitt respectfully urging the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to prioritize the protection of public health and finalize science-based “designations” for the 2015 ozone standard.
The League has been working to urge the EPA to adopt and implement the ozone standard since 2011.
