LWVUS Recomendations to Presidential Commission on Election Administration

The League made key suggestions to President Obama's Presidential Commission on Election Administration Reform. 

While there are many steps that could be taken to improve U.S. elections, there are five key suggestions the League of Women Voters proposes for improving the polling place experience for voters:

  • Secure Online Voter Registration
  • Permanent and Portable Statewide Voter Registration
  • Expanded Early Voting
  • Improved Polling Place Management
  • Electronic Streamlining
