Hundreds of Leagues across the country hosted events centered on voter engagement, turnout, and education, emphasizing young voters and community partnerships.

Hundreds of communities nationwide will mobilize to protect the freedom to vote and strengthen American democracy. 

On August 8, 2026, the League hosted civic engagement actions across the country in honor of the anniversary of the Voting Rights Act.

What we are witnessing is an egregious and unprecedented federal intervention into a certified election. We are deeply concerned about the FBI activity in Fulton County that began on January 28, 2026. The situation is unsettling, but let’s be clear: Georgia’s elections are secure, and the 2020 election results are final. Federal actions—no matter how disruptive—do not override established law or alter settled outcomes.
