Ahead of the House’s COVID package release, the League joined a letter opposing income limits on survival stimulus checks. These income caps or “means testing” based on 2019 taxes do not reflect pandemic-driven job losses and underemployment. Fortunately, the opposition was strong and the House’s plan does not include means testing.
