Founded in 1920, just six months before the 19th Amendment was ratified, we are comprised of more than 500,000 members and supporters across more than 750 local and state League chapters nationwide. The League focuses on advocacy, education, litigation, and organizing to achieve our mission to empower voters and defend democracy.
