LWVUS signs letter in support of the Counseling not Criminalization in Schools Act

The League joined a letter for Rep. Pressley’s bill which refocuses federal funds towards school counselors, nurses, and social workers. The legislation would divert funding away from school-based law enforcement and towards services in schools that cultivate positive and safe learning environments, so that all children can grow and thrive.
