Hundreds of Leagues across the country hosted events centered on voter engagement, turnout, and education, emphasizing young voters and community partnerships.

Hundreds of communities nationwide will mobilize to protect the freedom to vote and strengthen American democracy. 

On August 8, 2026, the League hosted civic engagement actions across the country in honor of the anniversary of the Voting Rights Act.

A coalition of voting rights organizations filed a lawsuit in the US District Court for the District of Columbia to challenge President Trump’s unlawful executive order on voting.
