Our #GivingTuesday Successes – Thanks to You

We did it! Thanks to supporters like you, our participation in last week’s nationwide day of giving - #GivingTuesday - was a huge success!

As with all of our work – we could not have done it without you! Each of our successes is dependent on supporters like you who donate your time, money and/or skills to support our work online and on the ground in communities across the country.

#GivingTuesday provided you the opportunity to give back to any number of worthwhile causes and organizations who do important work year in and year out, and we thank you for choosing to support the work of the League of Women Voters.

The money we raised through #GivingTuesday will be used to expand and enrich the work the League has been committed to for the past 93 years – Making Democracy Work® and making our elections free, fair and accessible. We’ll continue doing this by registering new voters, holding candidate forums, publishing voters’ guides and educating and empowering voters to participate in our political process.

As 2013 comes to a close and we begin preparing for 2014 and the midterm elections, we’re already hard at work gearing up for programs to protect and empower millions of voters in 2014. We’ll need your support along the way – connect with us on Facebook and Twitter.
