For the past few years, citizens have been dodging some pretty bad ideas: cutbacks in voting rights, splitting the Florida Supreme Court in two, and lifting the ban on oil drilling within 10 miles of our coast. Finally, however it appears we may be looking forward to a year that is poised for progress.
Here are three areas that we at the League are markedly optimistic about this year:
