For the Nov. 5 Constitutional Amendment Election, voters will be asked to approve nine amendments to the Texas Constitution.
According to a press release from League of Women Voters of Texas Education Fund, the Texas Constitution of 1876 has been amended 474 times by Texas voters and is one of the longest state constitutions.
"In the Nov. 5 Constitutional Amendment Election, Texas voters will decide whether to repeal two previous amendments and remove provisions from the Texas Constitution," LWV-Texas Education Fund Chair, Linda Krefting, noted in a press release.
