"The Winchester [MA] League of Women Voters’ goals for its Voters’ Day at the Races Candidate Forum are to promote interest in the election, provide a fair forum for candidates and help voters make realistic and informed choices among candidates."
The League joined the Leadership Conference for Civil and Human Rights and its member organizations calling for voting rights to be addressed at the upcoming Democrat and Republican debate/forum. The letter is signed by 36 organizations and has been sent to the network heads at MSNBC and CNBC as well as the moderators of the events.
The 2016 primaries are not the only important elections coming up. On Tuesday, November 3, thousands of important state and local elections will happen across the country.
