The Union Edge (Radio): Getting the Community Involved in Learning History

Dr. Deirdre Kamlani, Board Member of the League of Women Voters of Greenwich, talks about an innovative approach to teaching US history, democracy and civics using the Harvard Case Study Method. The program, based on a popular course developed by HBS Professor David Moss, was standing-room-only, attracting League members, students and teachers from three high schools, as well as elected town and state officials. The aim is to scale this successful pilot program through League chapters around the country in partnership with their local high schools.
