The League of Women Voters of Nebraska has it right. The organization announced earlier this week its opposition to a bill in the Unicameral that would require voters to present photo IDs when they arrive to vote. Rather than backing the legislation, LB111, that could compromise some Nebraskans’ access to the polls, the League has chosen to stand by the principles of free, fair and accessible elections for all eligible voters in Nebraska.
