Nancy E. Tate

I will be stepping down in a few weeks after 15 years as the League’s executive director. I am confident that the League will continue its work to make American democracy as good as the ideals on which the country was founded.

As a part of Women’s History Month, I was thrilled to join a special event in honor of the four women who have served as members of the United States Supreme Court.

On Women’s Equality Day, I participated in the Women’s History on the Horizon: the Centennial of Women’s Suffrage in 2020 panel at the National Archives.

I attended a panel discussion called about women in politics; all of New Hampshire’s top political jobs (Governor and Congressional Delegation) are currently filled by women.
