VOTE411.org: Helping More than One Million Voters in 2017

Blog / Last Updated:

Every year is an election year and in 2017 the League helped more than one million voters find election related information on VOTE411.org.

Since 2006, VOTE411.org has provided voters with the resources they need to make informed decisions at the polls.

Even in an “off” year election, voters counted on the League to provide valuable information about the elections in their communities, including; up-to-date information about polling places and requirements for voting, and information about opportunities to learn more about candidates—such as by attending one of the hundreds of candidate debates and forums hosted by the League this year.

By entering one's home address, the voter guide tool provides users with personalized voting information. Voters in 2017 were able to see the races on their ballot and compare candidates before heading to the ballot box. This year VOTE411.org provided information about more than 7,000 races and ballot measures and nearly 13,000 candidates.

With 2018 primary elections looming in a few short months, now is the time to get ready to participate. If you aren’t registered to vote or if you have moved and need to update your registration, VOTE411.org can get you started. Check out our online registration tool and spread the word for others who need to register to vote.
