The League joined 400 national, state, and local groups urging Congress to ensure passage of legislation that permanently protects Dreamers and beneficiaries of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and Deferred Enforced Departure (DED).

LWVUS joined a letter opposing the inclusion of three troubling anti-democracy riders from the 2019 spending package.

The League urged Representatives to support HR4, the Voting Rights Advancement Act.
