Women in government mentor [NJ] high school students at annual Running & Winning workshop: “...Bobbi Goldstein, co-chair of the Greater Red Bank Area League of Women Voters [NJ], said it is important to create a dialogue that shares stories illustrating how women have paved the way for younger generations.”

“Sixty students from 11 area high schools will come together at Monmouth Regional High School [NJ] on Friday to participate in the sixth annual “Running and Winning” workshop, a program designed to encourage them to become leaders in their communities and beyond. ... “Running and Winning” was initiated by the Greater Red Bank Area League of Women Voters (GRBA-LWV) in 2007.”

“The League of Women Voters of Burlington County [NJ] became the 5th local League to hold the Running & Winning Workshop, joining Camden, the Greater Red Bank Area, Mountain Lakes, and Cape May. “Running & Winning”, a workshop these local Leagues hold annually or every other year, is an amazing day-long League program that encourages high school girls to consider a political career.”
