The "Voter Choice Ballot" (VCB) is a new proposal for electoral college reform advocated by “Making Every Vote Count." With enough ‘yes’ votes, a state acting under the VCB would award its electoral votes to the candidate who’d won the nationwide popular vote, contingent upon voters’ responses to a ballot question.
The 2020 election saw the greatest participation in our nation’s history. Throughout election season, the League worked tirelessly to ensure voters had the information and the access to make their voices heard.
The Senate must serve as impartial jurors not tied to party lines, and convict him, ensuring that Donald Trump is banned from running for federal office again.
Donald Trump must be immediately removed as President of the United States of America and banned from running for federal office ever again.
Today’s activity on Capitol Hill should have been a procedural exercise to finalize the 2020 election. Instead, our nation's Capitol was attacked by domestic terrorists seeking to invalidate the will of the people.
Any objection to this process is simply political theater which directly mocks and defies our Constitution.
